While attending the local driving school I decided that i wanted to try to see if maybe a car would be in my near possible future. I have had a lifetime saving of over five thousand dollars form birthday presents, Christmas presents, summer jobs, allowance, and babysitting money. I knew that buying a car new was out of the question but maybe if I just bought a nice used car that could get me where I needed to go that wouldn't be a problem. My parents might even prefer i have my own car rather then me having to borrow their car when i finally pass these driving courses i was taking. My motoring skills were great and both my parents and teachers new that. My dad had even seen them when i wanted to show him how my motoring skills were two weeks prior.
When I told my parents they had said if that was whatI really wanted I was free to get it as long as I started looking into insurance groups immediately. Soimmediately googledinsurance groups and compared policies with the helpof my mother. The next day I had already made a few phone calls and arranged a few meetings with these insurance groups and my parents. After we found the one with the best policy my mom and I went searching for the perfect vehicle for me. The place we had went was actually well known for selling good used cars to alot of first time drivers and its the same place that my best friend had gotten her car. I knew I wanted something a bit more recent and definitely good looking and one that works well and I was determined to find it. Then I saw it, my car, a 1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata. It was in great condition. The paint was a bit mucked up but all I would have to isget a paint job and I knew since I still had a job i could afford a paint job. I bought the car then and there and was running late for my final motoring skills evaluation.
